Biologia
In riferimento al mwegcomportamento sociale, tra gli Apidae sono presenti sia api eusociali (mwewmwfaApis spp., mwfqmwfgBombus spp.) che api solitarie (p.es. mwfwmwgaAmegilla spp., mwgqmwggXylocopa spp.)cite-ref-2[2], ma anche un elevato numero di specie mwhwcleptoparassite; rientrano in quest'ultima tipologia tutte le specie della sottofamiglia mwiaNomadinae, e, tra gli mwiqApinae, diverse specie delle mwigtribù mwiwAnthophorinicite-ref-3[3], mwkaOsirini (p.es. mwkqmwkgEpeoloides spp.)cite-ref-4[4], mwlwEuglossini (mwmamwmqExaerete spp. e mwmgmwmwAglae spp).cite-ref-5[5]
